Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing team in the manufacturing industry. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple accounting responsibilities in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can independently drive projects and tasks to completion with minimal supervision while maintaining strong collaboration with internal stakeholders.
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the accounting operations of multiple entities, contributing to financial accuracy, process improvement, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Perform and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
  • Manage and monitor multi-entity accounting activities, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Support and improve Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable workflows.
  • Assist with inventory accounting and cost accounting processes within a manufacturing environment.
  • Prepare and review Sales and Use Tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Assist with cash forecasting and liquidity planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business operations.
  • Participate in ERP system processes, including data integrity, reporting, and improvements.
  • Contribute to process development, documentation, and implementation to improve accounting operations and internal controls.
  • Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and propose solutions to accounting challenges.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Controller or leadership team.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of month-end close processes
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions
  • Solid knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Experience managing or supporting AP/AR workflows
  • Knowledge of Sales and Use Tax compliance
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Background in inventory and cost accounting
  • Experience with bankruptcy accounting
  • Exposure to construction accounting
  • Experience implementing or improving financial processes and systems
